1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all services provided by Charlie Hide ("The Freelancer") to any client ("The Client"). By commissioning work from the Freelancer, the Client agrees to these Terms.
2. Services Provided
The Freelancer provides design and data work services.
3. Payment Terms

For ongoing clients: Invoices will be issued at the end of each month.

For one-off projects: Invoices will be issued upon project completion.

Payment is due within 14 calendar days of the invoice date.

Payment must be made via bank transfer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The Freelancer reserves the right to request a deposit before commencing work. Deposits, if taken, are non-refundable.
4. Copyright and Licensing

Copyright of all work remains with the Freelancer until full payment has been received.

Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the work for the agreed purpose only.

The Client may not resell, modify, or reuse the work outside the agreed scope without the Freelancer’s prior written consent.

Unless otherwise agreed, the Freelancer retains the right to display the work in their portfolio, website, and social media for promotional purposes.
5. Cancellations and Refunds

If a project is cancelled by the Client after work has commenced, the Freelancer will invoice for all work completed up to the date of cancellation.

No refunds will be issued once the final work has been delivered, except in the case of errors attributable to the Freelancer, in which case reasonable corrections will be provided.

Clients should provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Failure to do so may result in charges for booked time.
6. Limitation of Liability

The Freelancer's total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the relevant project.

The Freelancer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the services provided.
7. Force Majeure

The Freelancer shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms if the delay or failure results from events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, natural disasters, or internet outages.
8. Confidentiality

The Freelancer agrees to keep confidential any sensitive information disclosed by the Client and not to share such information without the Client's prior written consent.
9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Amendments

These Terms may be updated by the Freelancer from time to time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
